Responsibilities and Experience:
• Maintain and manage critical core business servers within the organization.
• Generate scripts to perform system administration activities
• Provide support for on-call duties
• 7+ years managing and maintaining physical/virtual AIX operating systems; RHEL Linux and Vmware Enterprise Edition is a plus
• 7+ years with architecture, design and enhancements
• 7+ years with creating and maintaining associated server and application projects from start to end
• 7+ years in generating or modifying scripts in Shell, KornShell, Perl, C++ or similar languages
• 3+ years in maintaining and managing Tivioli Storage Manager
• 5+ years in multipathing configuration within Linux or AIX

Education, Certifications, and Skills:
• College diploma or University degree in computer science or 5 years plus experience in the related field
• Certifications in system architecture, design or maintenance
• Certifications in AIX administraton
• Certifications in RedHat Linux administration or association Redhat services
• Certification in Tivoli Storage Administration
• Must have IBM AIX Operating Systems
• Must be able to scripting in Shell, KornShell, Perl, C++ or like languages
• Must be able to provide detail performance analysis within the server and components beyond the servers such as the network and SAN storage connectivity that is attached
• Must be proficient with SAN storage connectivity and multipathing configuration/methodologies
• Proficient on generating graphs using tools such as Excel or generating diagrams

• Extensive knowledge on design and connectivity between the servers with various applications
• Be able to install and maintain hardware within the datacenter; lifting, racking or moving equipment is required
• Proficient to generate projects from start to end with minimal guidance from management
• Proficient on hardening servers related to PCI compliancy
• Required on-call support duties that will include weekend and night time deployments
• Must be able to coordinate and function with different teams within the organization
• Proactiveness and self motivation a plus
