Job Description:
J2EE Specific - Has experience in the development, maintenance, and testing of software programs. Responsibilities include Coding, testing, and debugging application programs from functional specifications. These individuals will work from program specifications or prototypes * Works under the direction of a team leader, senior technical person or analyst.
Additional Skills:
Strong prior experience in building highly-scalable, high-volume performant systems.
Experience of Internet protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), WebServices (SOAP, REST), JSON, and XML technologies (XML, XML Schema, DTD, XSLT, XPath or XQuery).
Experience with the Java 8, open-source libraries and frameworks.
Strong experience with the Spring Framework with special focus on Spring Boot.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment cycles.
Preferable using the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Bitbucket and Bamboo)Experience in continuous integration, software release management techniques and interfacing with test engineers as part of any major software development project is expected.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with SDLC and development methodologies / practices (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Behavior Driven; Test Driven; Pair Programming).
Experience with front end technologies especially with ReactJS, Redux and testing suites like Jest.
Experience with enterprise messaging (JMS, MQ, Solace).
Experience with Java application servers (Tomcat, Weblogic etc.)
Experience with application Containers (Docker, Warden etc.).
Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Business Objects, Crystal Reports).
Experience with PaaS solution like Azure, AWS or Pivotal Cloud Foundry
