Mode of Interview:  Telephonic+ Skype   Job Description:   I have an opening for an SAP ABAP Consultant for Hirsh in Des Moines, IA. This is for a 6-12 month contract. They will hire someone today or tomorrow over phone interview. Below is JD and please send candidates.   This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of SAP applications.     Primary Responsibilities: • Lead the application development of the Warehouse Management System: ¿ Provide on-going technical assistance and direction to the end users.   ¿ Document user requirements, system specifications and configuration changes. ¿ Design and code program changes. ¿ Follow standard coding practices. ¿ Train users. • Lead the application development of additional SAP applications as assigned by IT Manager. • Maintain existing SAP applications as needed.   Job Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years of experience with IT application development. • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the IT (Information Technology) field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP Configuration and ABAP programming. • Knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management System a plus. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.   • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.   Education Requirements:   • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.   Travel Requirements: • Occasional travel (1-5 days) is required to attend classes, meetings or conferences or to work on projects at remote sites.
