Position: EMC Storage Engineer
Location: East Windsor, NJ
Duration: 6+months
Responsibilities:
Client is currently in need of a Data Domain and Avamar Engineer for a 6 month contract. The Engineer will be supporting the implementation of new Data Domain and Avamar devices and the decommissioning of old devices.
Required Skills:
- Support the rollout and implementation of new Data Domain and Avamar devices
- Support the decommissioning of old Data Domain and Avamar devices
- Responsible for the day to day operations and management of the customer's EMC backup environment
- Monitoring
- Capacity management
- Policy management
- Incident management
- Change management
- Provide recommendations and best practice knowledge transfer to all necessary customer staff
