Position: Web UI (Lead)

Location: Sunnyvale

 

Responsibilities:

• Write tons of code across the full stack – front end Web UI, Understand the middle tier and backend
• Troubleshoot and support system and application problems
• Debug problems and understand the existing code
• Create and execute unit tests and perform basic systems testing
• Mentor lower-level engineers in coding practices and process
• Manage teams onsite-offshore
• Work in an Agile Scrum team process, collaborating closely with fellow developers, DBAs, QA, team leads, and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science (or related field) and 5+years of experience in software development using Microsoft stack
• Experience with Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools
• Excellent understanding of Object Oriented software design
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, BackBone, Knockout
• Understanding of Test Driven Development
• Able to communicate complex technical concepts to company stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner

Bonus points:

• Experience with web frameworks like jQuery, Bootstrap, Knockout,  etc.
• Experience with Angular, Durandal, or other single page application framework
• Experience with JS and related web-dev tools (Bower, Grunt, Gulp, Yeoman, Jasmine, etc)
• Great work ethic and sense of humor
• Look at engineers from e-com companies
