Job title:             Oracle DBA
Location:            Downers Grove, IL
Duration:            4 + Months  

Required experience:
·  6-7 years for experience in Oracle Core DBA role with Oracle 11G, Oracle 12c (with ASM & R.A.C.), Exadata Knowledge
·   Experience working with:
·  Oracle 11G, Oracle 12c (with ASM & R.A.C.), Exadata
·  Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (2012), 2012,2014
·  Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control
·  Linux/UNIX (w/ Shell Scripting or equivalent scripting language)
·  Erwin (or other data modeling tools)
·  Microsoft Office Tools
. Exadata knowledge
·  Supply Chain experience is a plus but not required
 Install, configure, and maintain (upgrade & patch) database software
·  Create, monitor, and optimize database performance utilizing advanced performance tuning skills
·  Automate recurring / redundant database tasks
·  Maintain database integrity, availability, and restorability
·  Execute and automate database refreshes
·  Provide on-call support which can require analysis and troubleshooting of complex issues
·  Lead and contribute to design discussions in a cross functional project setting
·  Develop database standards, guidelines, and best practices
·  Design and architect solutions which often require complex system integration
·  Lead and mentor team members
·  Perform capacity planning and project estimation.
·  Evaluate and research new database features, version, and technologies
·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
