Job Description:
The Senior ETL Ab Initio Production Control/Support Manager is focused on supporting and managing active Ab Initio production extraction scripts and environment processes. Position will also include communication and coordination between senior department leads as well as coordination with senior management. Should have advance technical skills to provide troubleshooting and guidance at a platform level.
Job Duties include:
• Must have ETL Production Control or Support Management Experience.
• Troubleshoot and support active Ab initio existing jobs and processes. Remove and correct errors and omissions to restart and maintain active data loading jobs performance and accuracy.
• Experience developing, managing and deploying production control schedules and service level agreements. Contract management skills are a plus.
• Must possess and display excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to deploy those skills in a daily management environment. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and clear problem solving skills.
• Design, develop, unit test and deploy Ab Initio components and miscellaneous technical components.
• Ensure Ab Initio codes base is appropriately engineered to maintain current functionality and development adheres to performance optimization, interoperability standards and requirements.
• 8-10 years of Production support management or production lead experience.
• Interacts with business analysts and prospective application managers in order to gather requirements, performs implementations and guides production rollouts while creating highly optimized batch & real-time applications and ensuring the overall success of their programs.
• Reviews Use Cases, test cases and User Manuals for various projects. Conducts bug fixing, code reviews, and unit, functional and integration testing.
• Using workflow charts and diagrams, write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs.
• Make appropriate changes and recheck the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
• Prepare trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
• Interfaces with L1 & L2 support teams to define operational processes and procedures.
• Assists with Use Cases, test cases and writes User Manuals for various projects. Conducts bug fixing, code reviews, and unit, functional and integration testing.
Position Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (all branches), math, or a related field. Must have good communication skills written and verbal.

Ab Initio , (GDE Version 1.14, 1.15 and 3.0) Co?Op :V2-14, V2-15, V3-0, V3.1
Teradata Version 14.X and greater
Microsoft Office 2007-10.
