Position               : Sr. Manual Tester

Location               : Bethpage, NY  (long island)

Duration              : 6+ Months

Description:

 

·         General experience in planning and design of software project testing strategies, plans and scripts.

·         Experience in understanding software applications and writing independent test cases, based on technical requirements.

·         State of the art knowledge of manual and automated software testing methods for functionality, regression, load / stress, etc. and configuration management concepts.

·         Experience with implementation and use of automated test tools (i.e.; Selenium) a plus.

·         Familiarity with SQL, programming languages, object oriented concepts,  database  systems, and testing business intelligence software and mobile applications a plus.

·         Ability to perform multiple tasks, adjusts priorities, and operates effectively with minimum supervision.

·         Very familiar with implementation and utilization of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile software development principles.

·         Minimum of three (3) plus years QA / test experience, including system and performance testing.  Implementing web based automated testing solutions a plus.

·         Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

·         Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications skills.

·         Must have excellent Computer skills and a continuing ability to learn more advanced skills on the job.
