Position: ServiceNow Application Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Duaration: Contract -6 months

Rate: 45.00/hr C2C

Responsibilities: (for all applicants)
• Create custom applications and request workflows
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Advise on options, risks and impacts on business processes and technical solutions
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards
• Create and maintain documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling web-based applications
• Create, maintain and execute test cases

Technical Requirements: 
1. Minimum 4 years of ServiceNow development experience required
2. Experience with Geneva release or later required
3. Certified ServiceNow Administrator required
4. Certified ServiceNow Application Developer a plus

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
Experienced in web development languages; specifically JavaScript, XML, AJAX, Angular JS, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS
Experience with web service integrations using SOAP and REST
UI / UX design experience
Process design experience
Ability to communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with relational database systems and MS-SQL queries
Understanding or ability to learn additional scripting languages: PowerShell, BASH, etc.
Understanding network protocols; specifically TCP, SSL, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, POP, SFTP, MFT
Experience with one or more IT Service Management frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, Six Sigma, ISO 20000, etc.)
ITIL Foundations v3 required
Experience with Agile/Scrum a plus
