They are looking for an end to end .Net Developer, with 5-7 years experience working on new technology. This is supporting their front end of the new platform. They are looking to hire a couple of Senior Developers that they can convert after July if all goes well.
This position will play a key role in the design, development, maintenance, and administration of web, Windows, and mobile applications necessary to support existing systems and new development efforts. Other responsibilities require the person to utilize expertise to design, develop and maintain software applications in diverse environments and development platforms and disciplines. The Developer will be responsible for participating in work sessions to discuss and document requirements for proposed solutions. The role includes responsibilities related to requirements gathering, designing of data model revisions, documenting technical specifications, developing, testing and implementing the solution, mentoring junior team member. Ensures that system improvements are successfully deployed and provides production support for newly implemented or existing applications.
Occasional off-hours work required to minimize impact to end user community due to database and code implementations or production support. Candidate must be a self starter and able to work on their own, offering suggestions on beneficial improvements to existing applications and coordinating activities with other IT organizations (e.g. database, telecommunications, operations, technical support, etc.) and end user community.
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
5+ years of related IT experience
3+ years Data Driven Web Application Development
2 + years Development experience on various platforms
Demonstrated Microsoft Development skills in C#, ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript, HTML 5
Strong oral and written communications skills
ALL BELOW EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
2+ years mobile application Development
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with stakeholders and business process owners
Capable of analyzing business requirements to design data model revisions, document technical specifications, develop and implement IT solutions
Skilled in performance and tuning skills for application's database structure and assess software performance.
Excellent analysis, design, development and testing/quality assurance skills
Experience with creation and maintenance of functional and/or technical specifications
Experience with creation of application architecture standard artifacts (UML)
Experience in development & support of integration components & web services
Demonstrated Microsoft Development skills in WebApi, AJAX, Object Oriented Development
Experience with Entity Framework and SQL Server
Experience with CSS 3, Responsive design
Experience with SQL Server technologies include schema creation and architecture
Experience with change control processes, code migration and management tools is required (TFS, etc)
Experience with Testing Tool Suites (Microsoft, Telerik, etc.); documenting test plans and scenarios
Experience with all phases of the project life cycle (Agile SDLC)
Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
Proven self starter; testing, change management, production support experience, time management skills required
Experience with Healthcare specific technologies (HL7, HIPAA certification, etc) a strong plus
