Job Description:-

 

Database configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution are all critical functions that the database administrator performs.

. Need to apply the latest patch in a rolling fashion for both the Cluster ware home and Database home to confirm compliance to various versions of oracle databases.

. Install configure and troubleshoot 12c OEM.

. Expertise on SQL Plan Management (SPM) and DB profiles.

. Monitor database performance, diagnose performance problems, and tune the database as necessary. Investigate, gather diagnostic data for, and report to Oracle Support Services any critical database errors.

. Configure and manage memory allocation and adjust as needed. Calculate optimum values for database parameters such as amount of computer memory to be used by database.

. Troubleshoot and monitor database integrity and performance using EM12c.

. Hands-on experience with of Oracle Data Guard replication setup, maintenance and troubleshooting for high Availability.

. Manage all aspects of the physical database including schema's, DDL, users, security, etc. in development, UAT and production environments
