Description
1.Perform routine engineering activities - including coordination of activities that fall in infrastructure augmentation, currency management, , scripting and monitoring
2. Production incidents - where Application infrastructure is impacted, help drive resolutions, perform RCA and help with application infrastructure remediations.
3. Experience in Remedy Tool
Essential Skills
System Administration knowledge or experiences in Windows and Unix, especially AIX, RHEL.
Virtualization knowledge or experiences in VMware, IBM Power VM etc.
Experience working with Cloud server providers.
Knowledge and experience on SAN, NAS components especially EMC storage products such as DMX, Unified storage, Data domain library
Knowledge on backup and replication technology such as IBM TSM, EMC SRDF, Oracle Data guard etc..
Knowledge on storage tiers, analytical skills on storage performance monitoring, analysing and tuning.
