Job Title:QA Lead (Quality Analyst Lead) 

Location: One month in SFO and then remote,CA

Duration: 6 months

ONLY LOCALS FOR THIS POSITION

Minimum 10+ years of experience.

Restriction: 2nd Shift

Looking for a talented, energetic Lead Software Quality Engineer to join our team. Should be able to understand requirements and create, automate, execute, manage and report test plans, test cases and test reports. Should have good understanding of SDLC, and Software Quality Life Cycle, Agile/Scrum procedures and processes. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

•Lead off-shore LogiGear team

•Collaborate with development teams

•Drive scoping, planning, executing & monitoring test activities

•Understand requirements to create detailed use cases, test cases, test plans and identify risks

•Identify key areas to automate, develop and enhance existing suites

•Create and maintain test suites for functional, regression, acceptance testing

•Provide sprint & release test reports, metrics & bug reports

•Understand deployment scenarios and manage deployment to test environments

 

Required Experience:

•At least 3 years of experience working as a lead (not the same as a liaison between locations)

•At least 7 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering role

•At least 2 years of experience with CI tools. E.g. Jenkins

•At least 2 years of experience in Agile environment along with exposure to Agile tools

•Developing and executing test plans for REST APIs

•Proficiency with SQL for data integrity testing

•Experience with multiple automation tools spanning over UI, Server Side and REST APIs

•Experience with LINUX environments, build deployments, debugging & installation

•Strong team collaboration, strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have great analytical and troubleshooting skills

Desired Skills: 

Git, JIRA Plugins, Jenkins, Selenium, TestNG/Junit, Java
