Senior AWS DevOps Engineer |Atlanta, GA

Duration: 6 Month

Rate: $55/-hr c2c

Mode of interview: phone/Skype

No H1-B

Required:

· Strong communication skills

· Hands on experience for several years with AWS

· Hands on with Docker, and a developer/object-oriented programming mindset.

· Must be able to self-start on technical problem solving and be good at figuring technical concepts out in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience using AWS Services to build applications – Elastic Beanstalk, DynamoDB, S3, RDS (2+ years)

· Automated deployment of RDS through bash and python.

· Use Jenkins configuration issues.

· Configure RDS for restoring the snapshots.

· Integrated Git into Jenkins to automate the code check-out process

· Develop AWS Cloud Formation templates to create custom sized VPC, subnets, NAT, EC2 instances, ELB, Security Groups.

· Configure local Maven repositories with Nexus repositories and scheduled projects in Jenkins for continuous integration.

· Use bug tacking software like Jira to find, record, report, manage and track bugs.

· Encryption and decryption of configuration files using AWS KMS.

· Responsible for Automation of Elastic beanstalk to build it from scratch from creating application to creating environment.

· Worked on DynamoDB NoSql Database using boto3, which included creation of tables, items and also automating the tasks.

· Integrate Jenkins with different code quality plugins like Sonar and unit testing pluginslike Junit to automate the entire process.

· Create PostgreSQL and Oracle databases on AWS and also worked on modifying their settings like backup retention period etc.

· Configure Docker images with packages like boto3, aws cli and python packages and passed onto developers to work on.

· Work on configuration files ebextensions on elasticbeanstalk

· Use Splunk for getting the logs from the server.

· Experience in working with RDS, S3, VPC, Elasticbeanstalk, EC2 using boto3

· Work on encrypting and decrypting files using boto3 and openssl.
