Job Description:
Responsibilities:
· Wireless system design using Wimax, CDMA, TDMA, Land-Mobile, and/or LTE protocols
· Machine to Machine cellular wireless network design including MPLS backhaul
· Propagation coverage studies and link budget analysis
· Point-to-Point and Point-to-multipoint microwave systems and network design
· Communications project management and construction supervision including tower installations
· Satellite system link budget analysis and vendor management at a technical level
· Document and drawing creation and review (Visio and/or Autocad)
· Participation at design/project management meetings and conference calls
· Cisco based Wifi deployments and controller programming
· WAN optimization devices for satellite networks
· Routing/switching troubleshooting. CCNA and IT networking (Cisco or Juniper) a plus
· DMZ, firewall, and network security implementation a plus
· System performance monitoring, SNMP, IP, or other basis
