Our client, located in Roseland, NJ is in need of 1 Senior UX/UI Designer for a 6 month contract with potential for extension.  The Senior UX/UI Designer will be working with Marketing, Service Technology, end users and domain experts to design of a brand new, innovative and modern experience for the client. The Senior UX/UI Designer will have experience with Mobile and Responsive design, be able to analyze business needs and processes, be responsible for designing HTML prototypes, adept at creating visual interfaces using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and create web prototypes using tools such as Axure or InVision.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years' of graphic and UI design in a corporate environment and creating assets from icons to workflows
• Strong understanding in the user-focused design process and interaction design skills
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript; development experience preferred
• Strong experience using design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, etc
• Wireframe and Prototyping experience with tools such as Axure, InVision, etc
• Possess a portfolio of existing work with web, mobile and visual design, via GitHub preferred

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of modern development standards and techniques such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, etc
• Knowledge of CSS Preprocessors e.g. Less/Sass
• Knowledge of GIT version control system
• Experience dealing with a cross-browser compliant front-end code (IE9/10/FF/Chrome)
• Bootstrap or theme development
