Position: Lead Middleware / Web sphere Admin / MQ Admin

Location: Cincinnati,OH

Duration: 3+months

 

Responsibilities 

·         Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Installation, Configuration and administration of MQ Series v7 and higher 

·         Required -Experience in installing MQ on UNIX, Linux, & Windows systems

·         Required - Experience in Fix pack & maintenance upgrades + support packs

·         Required - Experience in Creating MQ objects - Queues, Channels, triggers etc 

·         Required - Understanding of how WebSphere MQ interconnects to other operating systems (zOS/Windows)

·         Required -Experience on setting up MQ infrastructure for large, complex integrations on UNIX & Windows systems.

·         Required - Experience on setting up (Creation of Queue Manager, Clusters, Queues, Channels), administration, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. 

·         Nice to have- Dead letter queue handling & best practice

·         Nice to have- Experience integrating & troubleshooting WebSphere MQ with WebSphere Application Server.

·         Nice to have -Good UNIX shell scripting skills

·         Nice to have -Advanced troubleshooting skills including MQ logs & trace files, opening IBM PMRs, collecting documentation (Must Gather), work with IBM, and drive problem resolution.

·         Nice to have -Ability to create support documentation & written procedures for routine and non-routine tasks.

·         Nice to have - Ability to coordinate MQ configuration changes, installs, & upgrades with application owners – including planning, scheduling, status reporting, & following company change control procedures.

·         Location of office is at the Madisonville Office Building
