Description:
Embedded VAVE engineer for electrical and electronics projects.
Work with Gilbarco's Continuous Improvement Team for electrical and electronics projects.
Responsible for development and implementation of electrical/electronic value engineering projects on client systems.
Identify new opportunities of design improvements and cost savings through Value Engineering/Six Sigma methodology.
Responsibilities:
• Organize the brainstorming sessions along with Gilbarco's stake holders for the identification of new areas of improvement.
• Prepare detailed proposals on ideas and concepts with schedule and effective savings. This will be presented to Gilbarco management for approval.
• Upon approval, start working on all projects along with Gilbarco's stake holders as per schedule.
• Prototype development, board development, Compatibility analysis with existing and new system, board bring-up, testing.
• EMI, EMC analysis, environmental testing, design validation, product validation and mass production approval processes.

Job Details: Review the demos of existing systems, create requirement documents, estimate effort, review test design/plans and test cases, ensure optimum test environment is setup, and coordinate with client and internal team on status updates WITH the objective of ensuring the highest levels of service offerings to clients in testing WITHIN the guidelines, policies and norms.
