We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior ServiceNow Developer. This position manages, performs, and coordinates installation, maintenance, and monitoring of purchased applications.  The person in this position has responsibilities that include:  Software installation and maintenance; partnering with customers and users of the software; analyzing requests and application changes; mapping and designing software system integration; and providing metrics reporting and statistics. Include development of ServiceNow configuration and JavaScript. ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

• Develop and configure ServiceNow platform and applications using JavaScript.
• Develops detailed business and technical specifications for service requests based on the requirements.
• Analyzes user requests, provides work estimates, timelines and potential liabilities for larger changes.
• Reviews and implements enhancement requests; evaluating application, process, documentation impacts, coordinating upgrades, and ensuring smooth transitions.
• Documents the relationships between software and hardware; noting dependencies and hardware requirements.
• Reviews vendor updates and schedules; aligning changes to service requests or initiating change management activity.
• Partners with vendors to ensure issue resolution, assess software changes, communicate potential issues, and coordinate software updates.
• Manages midsized to major application implementation projects.
• Ensures that the application is functional, monitoring performance, capacity and availability.
• Creates, maintains and updates current infrastructure blueprints.
• Maintains compliance to Service Management processes and procedures.
• Audits records for compliance to policies and procedures.
• Mentors and tutor associate and intermediate Software Analysts/Developers.
• Designs, codes, and documents customized report specifications for purchased applications for enterprise integration.
• Manages and coordinates maintenance activities and implementations related to pre-packaged applications.
• Partners with Technical Infrastructure Services to ensure appropriate capacity and infrastructure are available for implementation.
• Creates data directories and services for vended products and functions; utilizing data imports.
• Creates training materials and provides functionality training for new applications and upgrades.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Solid understanding of ServiceNow system infrastructure and ability to integrate proposed changes to the current infrastructure
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Platform
• Strength utilizing Microsoft Office tools including Visio
• Excellence at writing and comprehending technical documentation and business documentation
• Proficient developing with JavaScript
• Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver output on those requirements
• Excellent communication skills in technical and non-technical vernacular
• Excellent technical writing abilities and documenting
• Experience participating on project teams, preferably from initiation through successful implementation and acceptance of application changes
• Understanding of System Development Methodology
• Excellent problem solving skills and analytical capability
• Able to be on-call 24X7 in areas of expertise

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 3 years of Information Technology experience
• BA degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or other related field; OR 2 years computer programming experience
• Experience within two or more technology platforms
• 4+ Experience with scripting and integrating vended code
