Job description

This position will be responsible for the resolving reported issues  

 

Accountable for providing overall direction and integration for a specific ERP module, functional and/or business area.

Work with other teams, as required, to make recommendations on efficient use of Oracle Application features and capability to enhance the customer experience including:

application users to create functional specification document for fulfilling gaps

developer(s) to create technical specification documents for design to resolve identified gaps, adhering to defined standards and best practices

SME in EBS and assist functional users to identify and make recommendations on how to utilize features of the applications to infuse process efficiencies

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)

 

• Participate in patching activities by conducting impact analysis and testing
• Provide support for Core EBS Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA and CM) and Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS)
• Raise Service Requests (SR) and work with Oracle technical support to resolve bugs and functionality issues
• Evaluate user and departmental requests, gather business requirements, investigate solutions for Change Requests and present functional and technical options. These solutions could include modifications to the set up and configuration of existing modules, enhancements to modules, and/or implementation of new Oracle modules
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP system problems.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect ERP system data.
• Assist in the review, estimation and prioritization process of change requests and new development projects related to the Oracle Applications, HR/Payroll Systems.
• Supports end-users in Finance, Accounting, and Administration for the implementation, maintenance, and further utilization of ERP System functionality.
• Responsible for all functional tasks relating to the maintenance and user directed development of the ERP System, including end-user support and training.
• ERP Configuration and identifying and documenting procedures to execute future processes

• Ability to manage major tasks and small projects with little supervision.
• Experience with troubleshooting Oracle Workflow
• Experience with supporting interfaces to/from Oracle EBS
• Experience documenting support processes and procedures.

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

Bachelor ' s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems , Business Administration , or other related field or equivalent work experience
