Position: DevOps Automation Engineer

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Duration: 6+ Months Contract-to-hire

GC or USC Only

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of diverse experience in IT with various technology platforms, tools, and environments

• 4+ years of combined experience in developing infrastructure or application software.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience navigating organizational change

• Willingness to learn new technologies and be passionate in doing so

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using public cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP or Azure

o Azure and AWS preferred over GCP

• Experience delivering micro services applications

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery practices and tooling

o Example Tools (Jenkins, Chef / Chef Inspec, xebialabs deploy, Ansible)

Primary Responsibilities:

• You will help drive DevOps Enablement Sr. Leadership Initiatives

• You will work with technical product managers, operations engineers and software engineers to drive infrastructure as code

• You will engineer solutions to deliver agile infrastructure with a focus on eliminating waste

• You will maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to infrastructure as code principles and practices

• Facilitate enablement and training of application teams to enable an agile partnership between operations and development

• You will ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT goals/objectives
