We are in urgent need for Java Developers with experience in big data technologies (NoSQL, Hadoop, Search) , Experience with RabbitMQ/WMQ Java Messaging, Background with elastic infrastructure solutions (OpenShift, Mesos) and Experience in the health care industry .

Title: Senior Web Application Developer 

Project: Develop JEE web service application leveraging BigData platform 
Dev Team: Developer will be part of a 6 member Dev team located both in onshore and offshore. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
• Design and Develop a web based JEE application adopting Agile methodologies and DevOps strategies around CI/CD, coding practices (check-in, code reviews) 
• Proficient with APIs and Service Oriented Architecture 
• Integrate the web application with NoSQL database leveraging the existing Big data platform 
• Design, develop and conduct functional and performance tests. 

Qualifications: 
• 8+ years Java/J2EE software development experience with Spring framework and ORM technologies (such as Hibernate, JPA, or similar) 
• Profound insights into Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory management,
Transaction management, Performance Tuning etc)
• Strong background on the automated unit testing technologies (JUnit, EasyMock etc.) 
• Good understanding of NoSQL and its data modeling, SQL, relational database modeling and design 
• 4+ years of experience with Agile Methodologies and Test Driven development 
• Experience with XML/JSON and developing SOAP and REST services using Apache CXF or a comparable framework 
• Demonstrated success in building design patterns and software engineering best practices 
• Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field 

Preferred Qualifications: 
• Understanding of SOA design principles 
• Experience working with big data technologies (NoSQL, Hadoop, Search) 
• Experience with RabbitMQ/WMQ Java Messaging 
• Background with elastic infrastructure solutions (OpenShift, Mesos) 
• Experience in the health care industry
