Job Title: Application Architect
Location: CHICAGO IL 60601
Duration: 10+ Months Contract
Job Description:
App Architect is responsible for overseeing the design, Development and Implementation of Big Data Platform Applications. This role will be responsible implementation Big Data applications globally. Responsibilities include analysis, design, development, implementation and support of the application(s). Design and Development include (a) Development of Framework for common and consistent use of the intended design and (b) Developing applications Leveraging CTO Common Data Services (c) Development of High performing application consisting of High Volume data in a compressed timelines to process. Architect will be responsible for all deliverables from Review of requirements, developing Technical Design Documentation, Validation of test scripts and test cases, coordinate the implementation of the same into production and related support activities.
Ensure alignment of project specific designs with application architecture roadmap Support project / product teams on functional & technical design activities Define the interaction between application packages, databases, and middleware systems to optimize product functional coverage Act as subject matter expert (SME) for products that require integration into the application Provide product specific knowledge and expertise to support resolution of AMS related Severity 1 and Severity 2 incidents, as required
Provide hands-on application design and development of data structures and applications to solve business problems.
Work with other stakeholders to design, develop, install, and maintain data structures and applications to solve business problems.
Consult with IT team members (including management) and lead the decision-making process in the appropriate use of technology.
Advise management of the impact that business decisions will have on the applications development environment.
Provides technology, tool, architecture, and business continuity leadership for the team.
Provides primary liaison and leadership role with business partners, such as: Salesforce Support, Data Mining, Brokerage, Mailings, and others as needed.
