Job Title:    Cognos Developer (Must be local To TX)     
Location:   Austin,Tx        
Duration:  12+ months contract 
 

Years Skills/Experience
 Experience working effectively in a project team environment
 Experience serving as a developer/analyst for highly complex client/server applications
 Experience developing program specifications and testplans
 Experience programming in Cognos Bl product suite(eg,ReportStudio,AnalysisStudio, QueryStudio)including Framework Manager
 Proficiency with SOL-based DBanalysis
Proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter9.6
Proficiency with IBMDB210
 Ability to translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement required reports and dashboard requirements
Strong Communication,analytical and interpersonal skills
 
Preferences:
Years (Optional) Years Skill/Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree,including minimum of 12hours in management science, computer science,information systems,and/or data processing
With in the last 3years,experience with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development
With in the last 3years,experience with Dimensional Database design (Data Warehouse)
With in the last 3years,experience designing and implementing data modelsusing Cognos Framework Manager
Within the last 3year ,experience with IBMDB2 DBA activities such as creating indexes and partitions
Within the last 3years,experience accessing Linux server environments.
Knowledge of Web application server architectures and security systems administration
