Job Description:
Our client is building a continuous monitoring platform specifically targeted at the challenges of cloud security. They are growing quickly and looking for Javascript engineers to make our powerful and easy-to-use UI smarter, quicker and more intuitive.
You'll be helping to directly shape the future of their UI architecture and design. They serve their API and UI on top of an awesome, multi-tier chef-automated infrastructure using node.js, express, websockets, gulp, and a smorgasbord of other best-for-the-job tools. They also build their UI and data viz with ReactJS, D3.js, NVD3 and more. They use open source, and they contribute back to the open source tools they use whenever they can.

What You'll Do
- Ensure that the UI codebase is scalable, maintainable and eminently usable
- Create new data visualizations, refine workflows and add affordances that make the UI a delight to use
- Reach into the backend APIs to make changes and improve interaction patterns -- you'll reach into API layer and get familiar with the entire stack
- They use their own product to protect their own product. They want you to use their product and be vocal about how they can improve it -- if it works for you, it's likely going to work for their customers.
What You Should Have
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript—in fact, you love it
- A Passion to create clean, reliable and maintainable software
- Experience using patterns that scale in complex, single-page web applications
- Experience designing, building and delivering in a continuous delivery environment
- Drive to ship early and often to iterate quickly on features and functionality
- User- and customer-centric mindset
