Job Description:
For this role the consultant will be responsible for enhancing our current single page application with includes creating new html pages, as well as new angular controllers and services as well as updating routing.
With this, the consultant should ideally have recent experience with a larger SPA with Angular.
They'll need a decent understanding with HTML and CSS.
We're not doing anything too wild there but at the same time they'll still need to know when to use one HTML element over another and as well as how to apply styling for example in placing an element in a certain part of the page.
On the Angular standpoint, experience in creating custom angular controllers, services, and updating routing is extremely important.
Knowing how to call RESTful APIs and passing data from one page to another page in Angular is critical as well.
Experience with custom directives is definitely a plus, however a decent understanding how they work and how to create one works too.
The Ideal candidate will have 9-10+ years of web UI development.
Familiarity with MVC Architecture is Must.
Candidate will have extensive experience with the design and development of web based applications.
Candidate must have excellent time management and communication skills as they will need to communicate with both a technical and non-technical audience.
Candidate must have proven experience dealing directly and successfully with individuals outside of the technology organization.
Candidate also must have willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
At least 8-10 years of development experience in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
At-least 2+ years of experience with JavaScript libraries and Frameworks (Angular JS, jQuery, Node.JS)
Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback
Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS Experience with all levels of operation available to the front-end, such as from creating XHRs in vanilla JS to using a custom wrapper around resource
Experience with building the infrastructure for serving the front-end app and assets
