Skills Required and Job Description:
| Description of Work: • Serve as the Office of Systems Operations and Hardware Engineering (OSOHE), Division of Integration and Environmental Test (DIET) point of contact for Modern Development Environment (MDE) and Agile related software, hardware and projects. • Coordinate the setup, data requirements, security updates and testing of applications developed in the MDE. This testing could be via automated scripts or manual testing. • Support the integration of applications developed with Agile methodologies in the MDE into production. • Support and coordinate the MDE configurations and setups within SSA integration regions to ensure consistency. • Assist with the scheduled delivery of systems to the user community. • Assist in proactively avoiding any intermittent software functionality problems. • Attend work order meetings to introduce key project personnel; define roles and responsibilities; and review the meeting purpose, scope, and objectives. • Communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer, on a daily basis. • Provide Agile, MDE, devops, etc., training to DIET personnel Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities. • Master's degree and 5 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience or High School and 11 years of related IT experience. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading/managing the integration of software applications in a DevOps environment • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in software development and/or application testing. • Must have experience as a primary author of Software Development Lifecycle documentation such as Software Development Plans, System Testing Plans, Integration Test Plans, etc… • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Position of Public Trust Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration. • Agile Scum Master certification • Experience in leading, managing and/or coordinating major software development efforts • Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in coordinating multi-component project's • Technically capable with Java, Selenium, Jenkins, Cucumber but not limited to these • Knowledge of Cloud platforms • Database experience or knowledge |
