Location: Washington DC

Duration: 6 to 12 Months

 

Total IT Experience required 9+ years

 

Local Consultants Preferred.

Face to Face interview is a MUST

Experience in Banking Industry  will be a huge PLUS.

Client requires a quality-focused and detail oriented Business Analyst/Application Support Lead with a demonstrated track record of providing solutions to the Treasury cash management business area. Specifically the position requires complete understanding of the cash management function and accounting related to cash activity. Specifically the resource will be responsible for end to end support of SunGard Quantum Cash Management Application. The incumbent must be conversant with all stages of SDLC and be able to deliver results within tight timelines.

 

Terms of Reference:

 

·         Participate in development, testing and implementation of the new cash management application.
Manage and maintain the cash management applications

·         Liaise with service providers and product vendors to deliver IT services

·         Contribute subject matter expertise and serve as a technical resource for the cash application

·         Work closely with IT teams to implement the necessary changes required for the smooth operation of the application

·         Work closely with the business users and clearly document any enhancement requests or bugs identified

·         Establish systems to monitor the operating efficiency of cash application and provide proactive maintenance

·         Work closely with the IT teams supporting the other financial applications and make sure the smooth operation of all the interfaces with the cash application

·         Analyze and interpret testing results and determine next action items

·         Any prior experience with SunGard Quantum cash management application is a strong advantage

 

Selection Criteria:

 

·         Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting or Finance;

·         Overall 9+ years of experience with at least 5+ years in cash management applications.

·         Experience in supporting cash and accounting applications.

·         Experience in defining and implementing or supporting technology solutions for a major financial institution;

·         Extensive experience with implementing accounting applications for Cash products;

·         Extensive experience in gathering business requirements and developing functional specifications with special emphasis on use cases and defining test cases;

·         Experience with SunGard Quantum application is a big advantage
