Role: PLM Data Analyst
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Duration: 6 + months
Duties

Primary: Work closely with FB PLM analysts to assist with PLM related Part/BOM creation and maintenance. Respond to requests via ticket system with special attention to specified service level agreements (SLA). Interface with cross functional teams to manage the change control process.
Create, manage and process ECNs, MCOs, DEVs, and SCARs to minimize processing time between submission and implementation
Perform Analyst Role within the PLM tool (Agile) for BOM releases and changes
Be responsible for transactional day-to-day PLM activities for Engineering Change Notices, part number creation, BOM releases, vendor on-boarding, and other Document Control Operations or related PLM efforts. Also work with internal engineering, data center, and manufacturing teams, as well as external manufacturing partners to achieve the above.
Manage training to onboard new team members and supplier partners.
Develop and deliver weekly and monthly metric reports to support process improvement and data integrity. Secondary (over time):
Document PDM business processes used for release, approval and management of part numbers, BOMs, changes and associated documentation.
Participate in the ongoing assessment and optimization of PDM processes, systems, tools and data.
Skills

Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work cross functionally, with customer driven focus and sense of urgency. Ability to collect, compile, interpret product data quickly. Attention to detail and data quality. Challenge and ask questions when something does not seem correct. Experience with PDM/PLM applications.
Must have hands-on experience with PLM tools (Agile and Arena are preferred) and processes. Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems and processes are a plus.
Working knowledge of product structure and processes.
Understanding of product design for servers and/or consumer goods.
Education

4 year college degree and or 3+ years of pertinent experience, Recent graduates are valid candidates.
