Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI :: Face to Face Only Need EAD GC, GC or USC Only provide hands on dba support for over 150 sql server installations. position will serve as a tech lead - leading the dba team responsible in installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration tuning, sql tuning, change control, verification of system resources, backup and recovery, and disaster planning. oracle and mysql dba experience is a plus.   position qualifications: o             minimum of six years of professional dba experience as a ms sql server dba o             excellent written and verbal communication skills o             project management skills   experience with multiple versions of sql server in the following areas: o             sql server 2012, 2014 and 2016 support and upgrades o             performance tuning o             strong optimal sql server configuration skills o             strong query tuning ability o             amazon rds for sql server microsoft azure sql database o             high availability o             release management o             database environment refreshes o             customized backup routines o             disaster and recovery (dr) strategies testing and implementation o             windows clustering o             custom scripts for health checks, data archiving, table maintenance o             job failure detection and recovery o             sql server integration services (ssis) o             sql server reporting services (ssrs) o             sql server analysis services (ssas) o             dts to ssis conversion special instructions to applicants:   work hours: • mon - fri, 8:30am - 5pm • must be able to be on-call during some evenings, weekends, and holidays. • must be available to work evenings, weekends, and/or overnight hours for system related activities when necessary.
