Job Description

·         We're looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about cloud deployment and scalability. 

·         If you have experience building and debugging scalable, cloud based Java applications, are excited about the possibilities that exist at the intersection of sports media and entertainment, and would like to impact millions of users, look no further!

 

Job Responsibilities

•                     Develop software to support deployment and operations of the Sports application and related infrastructure on the X1 Entertainment Operating System.

•                     Apply industry best-practice software standards and technology to complex business problems.

•                     Diagnose and address performance bottlenecks

•                     Be a key member of a top-notch engineering team that delivers high-performance, reliable software, services, and APIs on consumer-facing products.

•                     Enhance build tools and scripts, continuous integration infrastructure, packaging and deployment tools. 

Job Requirement

•                     Strong understanding of virtualized/containerized environments

•                     Familiarity with puppet, openstack, aws, and java

•                     Experience in design and development of large and complex server side applications.

•                     Experience in UNIX/Linux operating system including some amount of networking.

•                     Expert understanding of modern, scalable, high availability solutions.

•                     Experience with troubleshooting complex systems and providing solutions.

•                     Desire to work in a small team, in a start-up environment.

•                     Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

•                     Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
