Job Title: SAS Programmer (with CPT healthcare codes/payments)

 

Deadline: ASAP

 

 

This resource can be located in Ann Arbor, MI, Durham, NC, or Chicago, IL.  There is even a possibility that the person can work remotely as well!  Good communication skills are mandatory for this role.

 

Senior Programmer with SAS and/or MS Access skills with healthcare claims experience. Will work with project team members (Consultant, SME) to program relevant Healthcare Codes to complete process and pricing logic required for targeted project to address clients' needs.

 

•Write SAS DATA STEPs, PROCEDUREs, and MACROs to link to Healthcare Codes and populate Microsoft Excel-ready output tables. 

 

•Review and debug SAS code. Perform logic testing and data investigation as required by the project Team Leader.  

 

•Generate ad hoc query results as requested.

 

Technical skills needed:

 

1. Understanding of CPT procedure codes and developing payment processes for clients (payment information is provided to developer and the developer will put together payment processing code based on pricing chart provided).  

 

2. Candidate needs to be familiar with healthcare codes/payment processes. Not an expert but an understanding of how it works.
