Urgent Need :: UX/UI Designer @ Denver, CO :: 6-9 Months

UX/UI Designer

Duration: 6-9 Months Contract
Location: Denver, CO

Hourly Rate - $45/hr

You will play a key role in the team by conducting research for and assisting with the design a web based application system. This position requires experience in the web application space with the ability to help produce engaging web related designs and convert complex information into easy-to-use user experiences. The ideal candidate must have the ability to rapidly create wireframes, produce comps and assets, and be able to work with diverse business partners. Responsibilities will include:

·         Working closely with the project management, business analysts and business users to understand vision for new capabilities

·         Work within a tea members to deliver Comps, Icons, Wireframes, Prototypes while adhering to the design patterns and style guide

·         Working in a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment

·         Works with Scrum team to review wireframes and comps to ensure feasibility

·         Partner with Product Owner to understand requirements and reflect those in the wireframes and comps resulting in Product Owner approval

Required Skills and Expertise:

·         Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design and/or a minimum of 3-5 years of equivalent work experience.

·         5 plus years of web design experience n

·         Experience designing for web based applications

·         In depth knowledge of web UI/UX Guidelines

·         Must have demonstrated experience web design

·         Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.

·         Proficient with prototyping tools

·         Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically

 

Travel required: Minimal

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience working on agile teams a plus

·         Familiar with ALM tools such as: JIRA, Confluence, Rally, VersionOne

·         Adept at learning new technologies quickly
