Requirements:

 

Job description:

The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst will perform the detailed data profiling, source to target mapping and assist with the testing work in support of the data warehouse integration and reporting activities. The individual should possess the following skills:

·   Previous experience performing data profiling of source systems and source to target mapping to a data warehouse model is a must (with healthcare payer data and/or clinical data)

·   Strong hands on experience with SQL queries using databases such as, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and Vertica is required

·   Deep understanding of ETL and how to write transform scripts

·   Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·   Must be a team player. This role is central to the overall DW team

·   Strong organizational skills, documentation skills are required. Need experience in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio and MS Project

·   Previous experience working in a data warehousing environment is needed

·   Previous experience with healthcare payer data is a must

·   Previous consulting experience is preferred

Role and Responsibilities:

·   Profile the source systems and assist in designing the data model for the data warehouse solution

·   Assist in the design of testing activities

·   Actively participate in data validation during QA activities

·   Mentoring client and consultant resources in the data analyst activities
