POSITION: Site Reliability Engineer/ Devops

 INTERVIEW: Phone/Skype Interview

LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA

DURATION:6-12 MONTHS

Job Overview:

Locals preferred. If non-local's then candidates that have worked in bay area already will be submitted

 

 

Site Reliability Engineer/ Devops

 

·         5+ years of hands-on Administering Linux environments (as Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer) managing Rails/Java web applications, open source monitoring (Nagios, Ganglia, Cacti, Graphite, Keynote, etc.)

·         hands-on experience with scripting languages like Go, Python, Ruby etc. & automation tools like Puppet & Chef.

·         Expertise in troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and the tools necessary to do so, such as tcpdump, ntop, etc.

·         Expert knowledge of HTTP protocol, Networking, DNS, General application stacks and SQL is essential.

·         Knowledge on Cloud Computing and Cloud Services like AWS, Google, Azure is a plus
