 Automation Lead with Java Groovy

Dallas, TX.

 

Requirements

·         Contribute to the design and architecture of automation project.

·         Develop Behaviour Driven Automation tests using JBehave, Java/Groovy.

·         Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.

·         Assist in on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting is effective and efficient.

·         Research capability to find new and innovative solutions to problems

·         Define, track, and drive progress towards the quality objectives for specific projects in the automation team

·         Resource planning and allocation spanning multiple teams/projects

·         Manage and maintain progress reporting and defect tracking and resolution including production of data-driven quality benchmarks such as code coverage metrics

·         Analyze processes, work with offshore team, standardization, streamlining, and automation

·         Work with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management

·         5+ years of automation testing primarily using Java

·         Experience/ understands the applications which are heavily data-driven (ETL/ Reports)

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Passion to deliver high quality work

·         Experience in working in a highly agile environment

·         Experience with Git /SVN

·         Experience with XML/JSON and document handling

·         Expertise in Object-Oriented and Service-Oriented programming and applications development with test driven development (TDD) approach

·         Strong knowledge and experience of design patterns

·         Experience in writing business and technical documents
