Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems
10+ years enterprise database administration of Oracle in a highly available and RAC environment; additional experience supporting Teradata and Microsoft SQL Server
Retail experience is a plus
Proven leadership with competing priorities, serving many customers on multiple platforms; Strong communication skills, ability to successfully and effectively navigate between multiple management layers
Proven track record for thinking beyond currents-state technology issues including process improvement and optimization
Is passionate about technology, and has interest in emerging tools, trends and techniques across the industry
Must be a high energy team player with a positive working attitude; Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to analyze situations, respond independently, prioritize to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and be a team player while maintaining a positive attitude
Strong skills and experience leading high-pressure outages and return to service activities
Experience managing insource, outsource and cosource database administration
