What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- 3-5 years professional experience
- Netezza, SQL Server, Hadoop, SSIS, MicroStrategy, SAS, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of database design, SQL and data warehousing
- Demonstrated experience with object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages: Java, J2EE, Python, Ruby, Scala, Big Data Components/Frameworks (Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce, HDFS, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Ozie, Avro, etc.), and other AJAX tools/Frameworks
- Experience with Hortonworks and Big Data Cloud solutions are a plus
- Experience with web service, open API development and SOA concepts
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to work and influence more senior levels of the organization across functional groups
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Iterative and Agile Development methodologies
- Credit or Marketing experience from business perspective a plus.
