Description for this role is below.

Duration: 6 months+

Responsibility:

·         Fix complex bugs in software (both gateway and IP-client devices ) - customers are primarily cable tv operators

·         Triage bugs

·         Integrate other device software as necessary

·         Interact with other software development teams (applications, middleware, stack vendors)

 

Required Skills & Experience:

·         At least 5 years of C/C++/Java experience in the pay-tv domain

·         Strong experience with STB (Set-top box) components

·         Embedded Linux expertise

·         Exposure/expertise in general embedded device firmware

·         Work in aggressive schedules

·         Well versed in Agile software development methodologies

·         Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills
