I am working with a Financial Services Client located in Mid-Town Manhattan who is seeking  a Java/J2EE developer with a minimum of 8 years of experience who has extensive knowledge/experience with the following technologies:

 

- Extensive experience in an investment banking environment (at least 3-4 most recent opportunities), ideally in a development role related to instrument and or client reference data applications

-Extensive experience with Spring and Java persistence frameworks (Hibernate / IBatis).

-Rules driven development experience preferably using Drools

-Hands on knowledge about testing tools like Junit

-Hands on knowledge about web services (SOAP/REST).

-Working knowledge of build tools like Maven/Ant and version management systems.

-Messaging frameworks and APIs XML, JMS,MQ

-Knowledge of source control tools (SVN, Clear case)

-Strong problem solving skills and should be able to work independently
