Position : Clinical SAS Analyst

Location : Sacramento, CA

Visa : GC/USC

Requirements:
·         8-10 years SAS programming in BASE SAS and SAS Enterprise Guide (EG)
·         Health Care Industry experience
·         SQL experience
·         Oracle or SQL Server Database experience
·         Must have excellent communication

·         SAS MACROS, and PROC REPORTS or TABULATE;

·         PROC SQL;

·         SAS based ETL processes

Desired Experience:
·        Teradata
·        MMIS Healthcare industry experience
 
Role:
Serve as the SAS Analyst for health care client.
Will be a tier 2 level support for Help Desk SAS process and queries, including for the following:
·         SAS Reports
·         SAS Process
·         Mentoring staff new on SAS
·         Healthcare SAS Queries
·         Assist staff via email and phone and in-person
Use of external files
SAS interaction / performance with the Data Warehouse
Will run the Meta Data on a monthly basis to populate it
Support about 400 users
40-60 are SAS users
 
Other:
Candidate must be able to pass a stringent criminal, drug and alcohol test
In person interviews highly preferred
