Need of QA Analyst in New York United States

Title        :    QA Analyst

Location :    New York, United States

Duration :   6+ Months

Interview :   Face to Face

Skills, and Experience Required  :

• Must have 8+ years' work experience in a QA role.

• Report and manage software issues and test activities with a clear understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and the agile methodology.

• Minimum 2-3 years' hands on experience in programming language (C or C++) on Unix systems (Linux/Solaris) and code coverage tools.

• Minimum 2-3 years' hands on experience on Scripting (Shell, Perl, Solaris). Strong in one of the scripting language is acceptable.

• Minimum 2-3 years' hands on experience on RDBMS (Oracle or MySQL).

• Expert knowledge of UNIX operating system administration. Red Hat is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a highly demanding, fast paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

 

Desired Skills/Requirements :

 

• Experience with trading and financial application

• Experience with supporting production changes, UAT Testing and debugging prod issues

• Experience testing in large-scale, multi-tier applications.

• Good understanding of TCP/IP network protocols is a plus

• Experience in testing 3rd Party Applications and Interfaces, and liaising with 3rd Party Software Vendors.

• Ability to work in a highly demanding, fast paced environment Core Values
