Role  : Mainframe consultant with COBOL, JCL
Location  : Madison, WI

Role:
In the role of consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Preparing Design artifacts.
You will also deliver high quality code deliverables, validation and production support activities related.
You will be working in a team which may consists of team members either completely at onsite or onsite-offshore mix.

Technical and domain skill:

Must have  -

·         At least 6 years of experience in Mainframe

•          Experience and knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL

•          Enterprise application development experience.

•          Experience in production support works

•          Insurance domain experience

 

Preferred –

·         Knowledge/experience on any Job scheduler (like CA 7), Code library (like Endeavor), Terminal emulator (like Bluezone, RUMBA etc.)

 

Other experience and skill:

•          At least 7 years of experience in software development life cycle.

•          Strong analytical skills

•          Strong communication skill

•          Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

•          Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
