Service Now Architect

The Service Now Solution Architect reports to the Manager of Solution Architects to define and document solutions that adhere to overall EA Practice's reference architecture, standards, and requirements.
The position is accountable for having clear and documented solutions for Service Now modules and enhancements.
Key outcomes will include having Service Now implementations completed based on ITIL adoption and on overall business outcomes and strategies set and prioritized by senior leaders in the company.
Responsibilities:
Having a clear business problem being solved or business outcome being delivered with each solution effort
Analyze enterprise business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements
Analyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement
Advocate and champion business outcomes by creating an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created to achieve the outcome
Outlining solution descriptions across domains, functions, and SBUs and then monitoring and governing their implementation
Understanding and adoption of EA process and practices by the IT organization
The access to and clarity of solution architecture processes and documentation for project teams
The completeness of solution architecture artifacts and deliverables
Work with the Enterprise Architecture Team to promote the EA Standards, Practices, and Guidelines throughout the organization's projects and technical operations
Participate in the Enterprise Architecture Community to evangelize EA, provide thought leadership, process communication, and career development for employees of Agrium
Create strong working relationship with the PMO in order to provide solution architecture as an overall part of the IT delivery process
Ensure that the solutions being completed adhere to standards and strategic direction
Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or equivalent
Training and/or certification in ITIL or a recognized set of IT Service Management practices preferred Knowledge of Service Now or other Enterprise Service Management software
Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
Experience creating standard diagrams and depictions of application solutions
Minimum of 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements Ability to estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
