Job Summary:-
We are seeking a top-notch software developer to join our trading technologies team. This individual will focus on integrating a proprietary trading system with the middle/back office systems. A successful individual will be expected to apply excellent programming skills to a wide variety of tasks. Prior experience in financial services is beneficial but not required
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on design of system that integrates a proprietary trading system with the middle/back office systems
Implement a Java application responsible for bi-directional communication of trade data and resulting positions
Build a web interface to provide status and control of data moving through a trade's workflow
Defining and implementing controls ensuring trades are correctly processes
BS or better in Computer Science
Proficiency in Java with strong modeling and design understanding
Experience with web technologies (front-end and service layer)
Experience with integration patterns
Experience working with databases (Sybase preferred) and JPA
Proven ability to produce high quality code while working independently
Independently produce high quality work in a fast-paced, mission critical environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
