Position: Senior Java Developer With Finance Experience
Location: Weehawken , New Jersey
Duration: 6+ Months
A successful candidate will demonstrate
Quick grasp of functional requirements and translation into technical designs
Strong technical analysis skills.
Ability to estimate work, plan and manage prsonal and team technical deliverables
Strong technical and team-working skills
Self motivated, looking to take ownership of assigned areas of application design and implementation
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to learn and share learning with others
Strong mentoring and coaching skills
Required Skills:
Practical Java and Oracle experience (3-7 years minimum)
Operating Systems: experience in development & deployment across Unix/Linux, & Windows platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills.
Experience with CI tooling and concepts (preferably Bamboo)
Experience with build automation tools (preferably Maven)
Solid Linux/Unix shell scripting experience
Preferred Skills:
Good grasp of general software design principles and design patterns
Financial experience (preferably Investment Banking)
Experience working with distributed teams
