JD:
This developer will be a part of the selection, architecture, design, and implementation of the core re-usable functionality used to implement the FX Accelerated Growth Strategy program. The individual will be responsible for building one or more core components, and will work with the corporate architecture teams within State Street to align these components with corporate architectural standard and control
Required Skills
8+ years of Java programming experience, preferably working on low latency, high throughput, highly available distributed systems.
Experience with modern dynamic and scripting languages a major plus.
Experience working within a financial institution is a plus, but not required.

Experience using and contributing to Open Source software is strongly preferred
Messaging frameworks (JMS, MQ, Tibco, ZeroMQ, Active MQ)
Complex event processing or related stream event technologies (Apama, Storm, etc)
Linux / Bash scripting
Rules engines
Ruby, Python, or another modern dynamic language
Relational databases (Oracle, Sybase)
Development and build tools (GIT / Subversion / TeamCity / Nexus / Maven etc)

Messaging experience using IBM MQ, AMQ etc
Multithreading
Transaction management
Java Memory management (handling memory related issues)
Any ORM technologies using Spring
Using any MVC architecture
AJAX (Asynchronous calls/http calls with request/response)
PL/SQL programing (experience writing stored procedures)
Working database knowledge for building applications)
