Need : : Sr SQL DBA with healthcare exp.

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Dallas, TX

·         Experience:

·         Preferred Eight years of experience working with database applications development.

·         Preferred five years of experience developing in SQL including table modeling, SQL queries, SQL views and stored procedures

·         Preferred five years of experience working with RBMS administration

·         Preferred working with MySQL and SQL Server

·         Experience working with data integration and data standards.

·         Experience in HL7 is desired.

·         Prefer experience in electronic medical record design, with experience in EPIC desired.

·         Equivalent Education and/or Experience

·         May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

 

Skills or Special Abilities:

·         Must be able to demonstrate an expert level knowledge of database administration.

·         Must be able to demonstrate expertise in the area of specialty's concepts, practices, and procedures.

·         Must be able to demonstrate a track record working with internal/external users in order to determine needs and design solutions.

·         Must have excellent communication skills, for both verbal and written communication with peers, senior personnel, and external contacts.

·         Must be able to demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skills, with regard to software design issues.

·         Must demonstrate an understanding of clinical data and the use of this data in a healthcare environment, as applicable.

·         Must demonstrate the ability to develop complex software products.

·         Must have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and data management software.

·         Must have an expert level knowledge of software developer tools, and documentation tools such as Visio.

·         Must demonstrate a strong knowledge of developing server side Java
