Title: Data Warehouse Developer
Position: Long Term Contract
Location: New York City, NY
Job Description: This person will interact with PM/BA to understand and clarify the functional requirement for projects. He / she then will proceed to develop software in PCDW, either himself/herself or co-ordinate with our offshore resources to deliver software required.
We Offer :
Design and develop middleware solutions for Product Control IT Data Warehouse application
Work on a multi-products, multi-regions, multi-entities, multi-technologies, and high-volume data warehouse application
Engage and coordinate with partners in development teams, project managers, business analysts, and architects globally
Review requirements, prepare/contribute to design decisions & testing strategy
Build both functional and technical knowledge to be a Data Warehouse subject-matter-expert
Responsible to get our vendor partner up the value chain and create essential quality and productivity measures
You Offer :
More than 7 years of experience in requirements engineering in application development projects
Strong hands-on expertise on UNIX (7+ years)
Strong hands-on expertise on C++ (5+ years)
Strong hands-on expertise on Messaging/Queue (EMS, MQ) (5+ years)
Strong database Interface - OCCI, JDBC (5+ years)
Medium hands-on expertise on Java (3+ years)
Medium hands-on expertise on XML (3+ years)
Good knowledge of Object Oriented methodology
Good communication to coordinate QA, release, Support teams
Good experience of developing software for a large Enterprise, including n-tier development
Good experience in architecture and design of multi-tiered heterogeneous systems
Experience in leading global team having mix of internal and outsourced development teams
At time candidate may need to work flexible hours to engage with other global IT teams in Singapore, Zurich and London
University degree level (preferably in Computer Science, Information Management, or Banking)
