Position: Teradata ETL developer

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 6-12 months contract

 

Key skills: Teradata + SQL Server + Hadoop/Hue/Hive

 

Job Description:

1.       Experience with Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Concepts

2.       Experience with Databases Oracle, SQLServer, Teradata

3.       Experience  with Data coming through files

4.       Familiar with Big Data Edition Tools.

5.       Knowledge with Hadoop, Hue, Hive concepts

6.       Very good SQL Skills

7.       Unix Skill Set

8.       Experience on Data Profile Tools.

9.       Handling Service Accounts/ Firewall Ports issues, User Access.

10.   Understand Source System Data Very well, correlate data between tables in sources.

11.   Reverse Engineering from the Source To target mappings.

12.   Familiar with Transaction, Master, Reference tables

13.   Ability to Map Source Data to Use cases, dimensions, Facts

14.   Data Integration - Joining dots between sources

15.   Experience around detailed analysis at attribute level to understand data and becoming of subject matter expert of the source.

16.   Data Profile Part – Understanding Primary columns, Foreign Columns, Domain Values, Nullability, metadata, data patterns, data dictionary

17.   Understanding of Data Model concepts CDM, LDM, TDM.
